Protect Your Children from Cyber bullying:
Limit where your children post personal information: Be careful who can access contact information or details about your children’s interests, habits or employment to reduce their exposure to bullies that they do not know. This may limit their risk of becoming a victim and may make it easier to identify the bully if they are victimized.

In Bangladesh Cyber Bullying is so much bad impact for children. They don’t know what is wrong or right and what is important. In social media we see that maximum child are connected with the internet and they use lots of social media apps. And the don’t know what are the dangerous for them to use this and they put a lots of information about them. This cyber bullying is so much relevant with the bystander effect in our social media.

Bystander effect and cell phones

Our phone make us feel like social-media activities, but they are actually turning us into bystanders. Our camera phones also make us feel like social-media activists, but when we’re recording an event instead of intervening, we’re actually just real-world bystanders. There is a gulf of dissonance between what we publicly declare as our values online or otherwise and how we act. In the past few years, there have been scores of videos depicting abuse that have been recorded and then disseminated online. The act of recording a violent event but staying silent is a modern manifestation of the bystander effect.

very few years ago Bangladesh have incident the victim was Biswajit Das. Biswajit Das, was a descendant of lower middle class family of Mashra village in Naria, Shariatpur. Coming to change the fortune came to the capital to work in the tailor’s shop. Although he was not involved in any political party, he had to return to the coronation of cruel politics and return to the body.  He was a 24-year-old tailor in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He was murdered on 9 December 2012 by members of the Bangladesh Chhatra League, the student wing of the governing Awami League party. On that day there was a nationwide road blockade, called by the opposition 18 Party Alliance.

This video says that and shows us how much we are unkind and what is our thinking mind, that goes to shame on us. And its also a Bystander effect that impact in our social media with our cell phones.

Over Concern about Social issues on Social Media

A social issue is a problem that influences a considerable number of the individuals within a society. It is often the consequence of factors extending beyond an individual’s control, and is the source of a conflicting opinion on the grounds of what is perceived as a morally just personal life or social life. In many situations it would have been possible to show resistance or disagreement without even getting in risk personally. In Bangladesh recent incident we see that some of students are getting violence by Police and others, and two girls are raped by a group of man. We see all in social media like Facebook, twitter, Instagram, You-Tube and many of TV Chanel news. This things are going 2 weeks and after weeks this all over concern issues are vanished, we actually do nothing. we just show our attitudes and our power our values and our opinion in social media. We just want to show them what we feel about that and what we do want to do. But in real life we do not anything we just show them our over concern about it.

Here the level of over concern about select the social media issues…

  1. Social Media scams and phishing.
  2. Fraud and counterfeiting using fake social media accounts.
  3. Hackers and trolls targeting employees social media accounts.
  4. Employees mistakenly sharing confidential, regulated or embarrassing information on social media.

This video says us, that time we are so much over concern about it. Only for four days we just want justice. But now we want nothing? No improvement and no one take a right decision. We just show our values our feelings and shows our concern about it. But in reality we all are just forget about it and don’t care about it. So the Bystander effect is so much relevant with this and this things are impact in our social media that we shows a so much over concern about it. But in reality we do nothing.
